Prime Minister Boris Johnson has called for a "new international treaty for pandemic preparedness and response". Tuesday, 30 March, 2021 Mr Johnson was joined by French president Emmanuel Macron and German chancellor Angela Merkel as he said the coronavirus pandemic had been a "stark and painful reminder that nobody is safe until everyone is safe".
